Seeing John, peace be upon him, signifies possessing piety, righteousness in religion, and strength in faith. It also signifies deliverance from disasters and afflictions. In accordance with the Qur'anic verse meaning, 'O Zechariah! We give you good news of a son whose name is John; We have not given that name to anyone before him' (Maryam 19:7), seeing him signifies receiving glad tidings, being remembered among people for piety and virtue, and being protected from calamities.
