Seeing oneself perform tayammum signifies the passing of sorrow, grief, distress, and anxiety, and the coming of deliverance and relief from Allah Most High.
Ja'far al-Sadiq said that seeing tayammum is interpreted in five ways: attaining one's desire, healing, provision, pilgrimage, and relief and deliverance. Performing tayammum in accordance with the religious rulings signifies attaining one's desire, healing from illness, abundance and blessing in provision, going on pilgrimage, and relief and joy. At times, tayammum signifies travel, or a man who is feared to fall ill with a sickness in which he may need to perform tayammum.
Seeing oneself perform tayammum can signify moving from wealth to poverty, from health and soundness to illness, while for one who is already ill it signifies healing and well-being. It has also been said that a dream of tayammum signifies deliverance from imprisonment and illness.
