Seeing a falcon signifies high office, because falcons fly high. The source adds the saying, 'Every bird flies, look at the raven; but can the falcon ever be like it?' Ja'far al-Sadiq said that a falcon is interpreted in three ways: relief, glad tidings, and wealth. Catching a falcon signifies elevation of rank, high position and office, and honor. It has been said that a falcon signifies an unjust ruler who has no loyalty. In rank, a falcon seen in a dream is lower than a goshawk.
Seeing oneself become a falcon signifies becoming governor of a city.
Eating falcon meat signifies power, strength, wealth, and benefit.
Seeing the falcon fly away from one's hand signifies losing one's position.
