The jugular vein is the knot of a person's lifeline. Therefore, seeing the jugular vein signifies a person's life and death. In light of the verse, 'We are nearer to him than his jugular vein,' it also signifies nearness to Allah Most High. At times, the jugular vein signifies partners, brothers, parents, or a guardian who protects the honor or property of a husband and wife.
Seeing blood flow from the veins on both sides of the jugular signifies the dreamer's death. At times, these veins signify a covenant and becoming bound to a difficult matter.
