Seeing a water wheel signifies a guardian of property.
Seeing it turning signifies travel; seeing it broken or stopped signifies stagnation in livelihood and cancellation of a journey. If the turning water wheel also produces pleasant and cheerful sounds, the dream signifies news and Qur'an that the dreamer will hear.
Seeing a wheel used for twisting rope and thread signifies pure provision, marriage for an unmarried person, and a pleasant, tranquil life. At times, seeing a water-driven wheel that makes sound signifies a servant who protects people's wealth amid hardship and difficulty. The sounds of water wheels may also signify weeping and lamentation for the one who hears them in the dream.
