Seeing a nerve or sinew in a dream signifies piety, trade, contracts and covenants, and calling witnesses regarding matters that are a cause of provision. Feeling pain in a nerve signifies sorrow, grief, and distress.
Seeing one's nerve severed signifies affairs becoming scattered and disordered. It has been said that a nerve seen in a dream represents the dreamer's paternal relatives within the household. Accordingly, any increase or deficiency seen in a nerve pertains to the relative represented by that nerve.
