The months referred to here are the lunar Arabic months:
1. Muharram: Seeing Muharram signifies deliverance from distress and affliction and recovery from illness. If the dreamer is away from home, it signifies returning to one's homeland. For a sinful person, seeing Muharram signifies repentance and guidance, because the repentance of Adam, the first human and first prophet, was accepted in this month.
2. Safar: Dreams seen in Safar are generally regarded as unfavorable. However, for a person immersed in sorrow and distress, seeing Safar signifies safety; for a sick person it signifies recovery and health.
3. Rabi al-Awwal: Seeing this month signifies joy and happiness. The dreamer profits in trade and experiences relief and gladness. For someone in distress, it signifies release from hardship. For someone awaiting a child, it signifies a righteous son.
4. Rabi al-Thani: Seeing this month signifies victory over an enemy. A dream seen in this month signifies good.
5. Jumada al-Awwal: A dream seen in this month signifies stagnation in affairs, with profit and trade decreasing.
Seeing this month may also signify losing someone close.
6. Jumada al-Thani: If a dream seen in this month is to have a good outcome, its fulfillment is delayed rather than immediate.
7. Rajab: Dreams seen in Rajab are strong and true; doors of goodness and blessing open and evil turns into good.
Seeing Rajab signifies honor and merit, for the blessed Mi'raj of the Master of creation occurred in Rajab.
8. Sha'ban: Seeing Sha'ban signifies that an official may be removed from office, because in this month every matter of wisdom is distinguished by a command. Events of the coming year are also decreed on the fifteenth night of this month.
9. Ramadan: Ramadan is the month in which the Qur'an was revealed and contains a night better than a thousand months. In this month the devils are chained and the doors of evil are closed. The fulfillment of a dream seen in Ramadan is not delayed.
Seeing Ramadan signifies blessing, goodness, forgiveness, and pardon. If the dreamer is studying knowledge or the Qur'an, they attain knowledge and the Qur'an, for the Qur'an was revealed in this blessed month. If the dreamer is epileptic or ill, they soon recover; if in distress, they are relieved.
10. Shawwal: Seeing Shawwal signifies release from sorrow, relief, and joy, because its beginning is marked by the moon of Eid and happiness.
11. Dhu al-Qa'dah: If a dream seen in this month points to travel, it is better for the dreamer not to set out.
12. Dhu al-Hijjah: If a dream seen in this month points to travel, there is no harm in setting out at once and expanding one's affairs, for it is a blessed month and the season of Hajj, containing Eid and sacrifice.
Seeing oneself in Dhu al-Hijjah, sacrificing an animal, or performing the Eid al-Adha prayer signifies release from debt, fulfillment of a vow, repentance, and guidance.
