Seeing an underground cellar signifies a mother who raises and disciplines her child. The source explains that the child's strength and provision in the mother's womb are like the goods stored in a cellar from which the dreamer eats until they are exhausted. Therefore, seeing the cellar collapse, disappear, or become closed signifies the death of the dreamer's mother if she is ill.
Seeing the food and provisions in the cellar turn into rubbish or earth signifies that the price of grain and food will fall. The author then adds: 'Now price increases are flowing like a flood; even seeing this in a dream would be nice.' If a poor person sees the cellar filled with food and grain, it signifies his wife's pregnancy.
Seeing fire fall upon food and grain stored in the cellar signifies scarcity and hardship in such goods. If a sick person sees himself fall into an unknown cellar or pit, it signifies his death; if he is on a ship, he will drown.
Seeing dates, sugar, or sweet foods stored in the cellar signifies that the prices of grain and foodstuffs will rise.
