Seeing oneself recite this blessed surah or one of its verses, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies victory over enemies and being with the Noble Messenger on the Day of Resurrection. It may also signify righteousness in religion, sincere faith, repentance, and seeking forgiveness.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said that the death of one who recites this surah in a dream has drawn near. Al-Nabulsi said that for rulers, seeing this surah in a dream signifies victories and conquests. The source then continues, without a separate visible heading, with material explicitly referring to Surah An-Nas: reciting it or hearing it recited over oneself signifies that a desired matter will unfold in order and that one will overcome enemies.

Ibn Sirin said that God protects the person from the evil eye and from the harm of wicked people and jinn. It is also said that whoever recites this noble surah is delivered by his Lord from the evil of people and Satan.

Seeing Surah An-Nas may also signify the gathering of family and relatives. Al-Nabulsi added that a dream interpreter must give due weight to the surah, judge according to verses appropriate to the dreamer, and give each person an interpretation suited to his circumstances.

Seeing surahs or verses of God's Book that have been tried for obtaining benefit or repelling harm indicates the occurrence of a good or bad event for which those surahs or verses will be needed; interpreting them arbitrarily is not in keeping with wisdom.
