Seeing oneself recite Surah At-Taghabun or one of its verses, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies safety from the pain of death and the severity of the Day of Resurrection.
Ibn Sirin said that the person is honored with generosity and liberality, gives much charity to the poor, and is loved by everyone.
Ja'far al-Sadiq interpreted it as remaining on the path of truth, truthfulness in deed and speech, being righteous and sincere, and generosity and munificence.
