Seeing oneself recite Surah An-Najm in full or in part, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies a righteous child who will fight in the way of God and die on that path.

Ibn Sirin interpreted it as God opening doors of goodness to the person, enabling him to do good, and granting him mercy and forgiveness. According to Ja'far al-Sadiq, he overcomes his enemies and is blessed with a righteous child.
