Seeing oneself recite Surah Ash-Shura or part of it, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies long life and the angels' prayers for forgiveness and supplication.
Ibn Sirin said that one who recites this surah in a dream, or hears it recited, is delivered from the punishment of Hell.
Ja'far al-Sadiq said that the person lives for a long time in health and well-being and attains what he desires.
