Seeing oneself recite Surah Fussilat in full or in part, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies calling people to guidance and the straight path and receiving reward according to the number of its letters.
Ibn Sirin said that reciting all or part of this surah, or hearing it recited, is interpreted as drawing near to one's Lord through obedience and worship, becoming a complete and virtuous person, performing righteous deeds both openly and secretly, and following the path of happiness.
