Seeing oneself recite Surah al-Shu'ara or part of it, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies protecting oneself from evil and false speech.
Ja'far al-Sadiq said that the Exalted and Generous God protects the person from bad and evil deeds. It has also been said that one who sees this surah in a dream will experience difficulty and hardship in obtaining provision and will attain things only with effort.
