According to Ibn Kathir, seeing oneself recite Surah Yusuf or part of it signifies having many enemies among one's relatives, just as Joseph's brothers envied him and cast him into the well. Sometimes reciting this blessed surah signifies attaining wealth after poverty, honor after humiliation, and relief after distress, just as Joseph became ruler in Egypt after slavery.
Ibn Sirin said that seeing oneself recite all or part of Surah Yusuf, or hearing it recited, signifies first being subjected to injustice and afterward attaining goodness and blessing.
