Seeing oneself recite Surah al-Tawba or part of it, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies loving righteous and spiritually knowledgeable people. The one who recites this blessed surah will not die before repenting and will be honored among people.
Seeing or reciting Surah al-Tawba has also been interpreted as follows: God Most High rectifies the person's religion; he departs for the Hereafter free of hypocrisy; the Prophet bears witness for him; all the angels ask forgiveness for him; and God grants him the blessing of sincerity.
