The Qur'an is the word of God and the final divine word to reach humanity. For those who live in the gardens of happiness offered by the Qur'an, the springtime of both worlds unfolds; no happiness is promised to those who turn away from it. The Prophet is reported to have said, 'Whoever loves to speak with his Lord, let him recite the Qur'an.' Accordingly, seeing oneself recite Qur'anic verses from the Qur'an signifies honor, joy, and divine help. Reciting the Qur'an openly signifies enjoining good, fulfilling trusts, and defending the truth. Memorizing the Qur'an in a dream despite not being a memorizer in waking life signifies property, blessing, power, and strength. Reciting the Qur'an and understanding its meaning signifies intellect and wisdom and that the Lord has granted the dreamer intelligence and understanding.

Eating the Qur'an signifies making one's living by reciting the Qur'an and receiving payment for it. Completing the Qur'an from beginning to end signifies attaining a great reward before God and fulfillment of one's wishes. If an ignorant person sees himself reciting the Qur'an, it signifies that his life is nearing its end. Reciting the Qur'an while naked signifies following the desires of the lower self. Listening to another person recite the Qur'an signifies authority, sovereignty, and a good end. If a sick person sees himself reciting the Qur'an but does not know the verse he is reading, it signifies healing and well-being, in accordance with the Qur'anic meaning that guidance and mercy have come for the believers (Yunus 10:57), and God will grant him healing. Regarding the surahs of the Qur'an, Imam al-Nabulsi said that reciting over a sick person those surahs commonly recited over the dead may signify the sick person's death, while reciting surahs used for healing signifies joy, happiness, relief, provision, and the birth of a child who will recite the Qur'an. A Qur'anic surah may also signify a wife, a child, or gold and silver corresponding to the number associated with the surah. The Qur'an was first revealed in Mecca and later in Medina, and some verses were revealed in both.

Seeing in a dream surahs such as al-Ma'ida, al-An'am, al-Nahl, al-Hajj, Luqman, al-Sajda, and al-Taghabun, which the source describes as having Meccan and Medinan revelation, signifies pilgrimage. Completing the Qur'an signifies attaining one's purpose and wish. Reciting it correctly signifies an increase in wealth, while reciting it with a beautiful voice signifies elevation in rank. Reciting or hearing 'Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim' signifies blessing from God in one's wealth, expansion of provision, and acceptance of one's prayer. Repeatedly reciting or hearing the basmala signifies acceptance before God and being among those specially chosen among people.
