Seeing an adze in a dream signifies continuing in one's present state. An adze is also interpreted as: livelihood, a servant, a child, provision coming through one's wife, and benefit or advantage. Sometimes it signifies a person eager to draw wealth toward himself, or an evil, sharp-tongued woman who speaks badly. The adze may also signify a police officer who disciplines wayward men. Shaping a tree with an adze signifies earning money in proportion to the amount of wood shavings. Sometimes the adze signifies marriage for an unmarried person and the birth of a child for a married person.
