Hearing a door creak signifies evil arising from guards or doorkeepers. Sometimes this dream signifies revealing hidden secrets. Al-Nabulsi said: Hearing in a dream the squeaking of a scribe's pen upon paper or a writing tablet signifies, for people of knowledge, elevation of their ranks before Almighty God and among the people and being remembered with praise; for other people, it signifies hidden matters coming to light and falling into hardship.
