The heart is the sovereign of the human body. Therefore, seeing the heart signifies the dreamer's heroism, courage, intelligence, cleverness, generosity, tolerance, character, and justice.
Seeing one's heart come out into one's abdomen signifies soundness of religion.
Seeing one's heart broken into pieces signifies deliverance from sorrow and grief, recovery from illness, and relief. It has been said that the heart is a person's religion and intelligence. Thus, if a person sees an eye in his heart, it signifies his reason, intelligence, understanding, religiosity, and eloquence.
Seeing one's heart stolen and carried away is interpreted in four ways: (a) severe fear, (b) madness, (c) corruption in religion, and (d) a great calamity. Sometimes the heart signifies a person's wife, because the woman of the house manages everything in the household. Al-Nabulsi said: If a person who is characterized by fear of God, asceticism, and piety sees his own heart split apart, this signifies the continuation of his inward bond with Almighty God and that, because he remains in fear of God, nothing can prevent or sever his attachment and bond with God.
