Seeing a cemetery signifies preaching, reciting the Qur'an, weeping, taking heed, remembering death, fear, severing attachment to this world, and turning toward the Hereafter, for death is the greatest preacher.

Seeing a cemetery also signifies scholars and God-fearing people, officials of the ruler, and valiant Muslim soldiers. Sometimes seeing a Muslim cemetery signifies the tents of Muslim fighters and the Muslims preparing to meet an army.

Seeing a cemetery belonging to unbelievers signifies sorrow, grief, fear, doubt in religion, and a lonely, desolate prison, because a cemetery is a prison for the bodies and corpses that enter it. If a sick person sees himself enter a cemetery and build a structure there, it signifies that he will not recover from that illness and will die.

Entering a cemetery and there weeping in fear, reciting the Qur'an, or praying toward the qibla signifies righteous people, gatherings of remembrance, worship, and obedience.

Ibn Sirin said: If a dead person gives the dreamer a washed garment, it signifies becoming wealthy. If the dead person gives a garment that was not among his own clothes, and the dreamer takes it, wears it, then removes it and returns it to the deceased, it signifies the death of someone in the dreamer's household. If a dead person gives the dreamer something desirable from worldly things, it signifies good and blessing coming from an unexpected source. If a dead person gives the dreamer a new, clean garment, it signifies abundant provision and a good livelihood. If a dead person gives bread, it signifies provision from an unexpected source.

Taking a turban from the hand of a dead person signifies good and benefit. If a dead person gives the dreamer a watermelon, the dreamer will experience sorrow, grief, and distress.
