Nabulsi said that seeing a woman spinning thread signifies contentment, following the Prophetic Sunnah, keeping one's affairs sound, and devoting oneself to goodness. If a woman sees herself spin thread and then undo what she has spun, it signifies Allah Most High's anger toward her and the coming of punishment upon her.
