Seeing an ewer signifies repentance for a sinner and, for a pregnant woman, a male child. At times it signifies a boy who knows hidden secrets. Gathering together ewers used for ablution signifies performing good deeds that will be a cause for entering Paradise. At times, the dream signifies a sword.
Ja'far al-Sadiq said that seeing an ewer is interpreted as a pure and chaste wife, a servant, a female servant, firmness in religion, bodily health, long life, wealth and blessing, and goodness, blessing, and inheritance. Performing ablution with water from the ewer signifies purification from sins, relief, and blessing.
Seeing the ewer as very valuable signifies an increase in the dreamer's prestige.
