Whistling in a dream is not good in any respect, because it signifies what is unlawful, bad things, and base morals. Al-Nabulsi said that a person who whistles in a dream adopts the morals of the polytheists. Clapping is interpreted in the same way. Whistling may also signify bad news, because people regard whistling as inauspicious.
