Ibn Sirin said that a person who sees himself in sorrow and grief will attain relief and happiness. Jabir al-Maghribi likewise said that falling into sorrow and grief signifies relief and joy that will come quickly. If the dreamer is a righteous person, his relief and joy will be even greater. Being in a state of relief and joy in a dream has the opposite interpretation.
Ibn Sirin said that one who sees himself made happy by another person will, because of that person, fall into sorrow and grief.
