Wild goose and duck

Seeing a wild goose signifies low prices, blessing, bounty, and abundant wealth. A wild goose also signifies a woman of high standing and honor. If an unmarried person catches a wild duck and brings it home, it signifies marriage to a woman.

Seeing a wild duck is also interpreted as a woman of little merit who is extravagant. The feathers of a wild duck signify wealth and spoils.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said: Seeing a white goose or duck signifies wealth or a wealthy wife, while a black goose or duck signifies a servant. Slaughtering a goose or duck and eating its meat signifies wealth and property that will come from one's wife.
