Swallowing anger

Anger is a calamity for a person. Therefore, seeing oneself restrain or swallow one’s anger signifies, in accordance with the verse, ‘those who restrain anger and pardon people’ (Al Imran, 134), that the person will be praised in a good way and will show goodness and beneficence to everyone. Restraining anger in a dream signifies strength in religion, piety, and fear of Allah. It is stated in a hadith that the truly strong person is not the one who defeats others, but the one who controls his anger and wrath.
