Presentation before a commander
Classical interpretations
Seeing oneself presented before an army commander but the commander not accepting one is a sign of a great sin. If one saw that the commander was pleased with one, it signifies that Allah Most High will be pleased with that person.
Seeing oneself given something by the person before whom one was presented signifies attaining what one hoped for.
