Lantern

Seeing a lantern in a dream signifies honor and good fortune.

Seeing the lantern go out is a sign of dismissal from work for an official and of the loss of blessing for the people.

Seeing many lanterns lit in a city signifies that the administrators of that country act with justice.

Seeing the lanterns suddenly go out and the city left in darkness, however, signifies the injustice and oppression of the administrators at the head.

Seeing a lit lantern signifies joyful news, while an unlit one signifies darkness descending upon the household. A lantern of glass or crystal signifies divine success, worship and obedience, worldly well-being, and safety in the Hereafter.
