File (tool)

His holiness Ibn Sirin said: Seeing a file in one's hand in a dream signifies that difficult and hard matters will become easy.

Seeing oneself file iron with a file and struggle at it is a sign of hard tasks and loss.

Seeing a coarse file in a dream is harsh words; a fine file is gentle words.

Seeing the file break in one's hand and fall to pieces signifies that matters will reach a dead end and that it will not be possible to set them right. Jabir al-Maghribi said: If a person sees himself file a piece of iron or something similar among the belongings in his own house, it signifies that he will do good to those under him and that the affairs of his house will be set right.

Seeing a file is interpreted as the tongue. A file also signifies having needs fulfilled and, for people knowledgeable in the art of the pen, worshipping well. Filing something signifies marriage.
