Distress

If a person sees his heart constricted in a dream, it is interpreted as regret and asking forgiveness of Allah.

Seeing oneself distressed and heavy-hearted is also a sign of the dreamer's remorse and his asking forgiveness of Allah.

Seeing oneself in a state of distress signifies greater ease and abundance in one's livelihood. Complaining because of distress signifies attaining one's wish and aspiration. At times, feeling distressed signifies fear and hardship. It may also signify the consequences of sins committed while awake and that those consequences will occur in this world.
