Seeing a desert in a dream signifies loneliness and having no one.

Seeing oneself left alone in a boundless wilderness signifies moving away from one's family and living in solitude. If a person sees himself in a desert with friends he loves, it is a sign of being loved by friends and companions.

Seeing oneself come upon water gushing in the desert, drink from it, and cool off signifies deliverance from sorrow and grief.

Seeing open country and desert signifies release from severity and hardship into ease and safety, repentance from sins and errors, recovery from illness, and profit after loss.

Ibn Sirin said: Seeing a desert signifies relief, joy, and justice in proportion to the breadth and beauty of that desert.

Seeing oneself on a tract of open land signifies spaciousness, dignity and honor, righteous deeds, and worship. If the desert seen is cultivated and green, it signifies relief and joy in proportion to its greenery.

Seeing oneself in a wide desert adorned with flowers and roses signifies reaching a person of high standing and obtaining knowledge and spiritual understanding from that person.
