Cauterization

If a person sees cauterization in a dream, it is a sign of wealth that is spent. Sometimes this dream is also interpreted as illness. Again, seeing cauterization in a dream signifies bitter and harsh words.

Abu Sa'id al-Wa'iz said: Seeing cauterization in a dream signifies a great and exalted rank.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said: Seeing oneself being cauterized with fire signifies not paying the alms due on one's wealth, or being in the service of the head of state. Daniel (peace be upon him) says: If a person sees himself cauterized or sees himself cauterize someone, it signifies useless words and being grieved at heart.
