According to the interpretation attributed to Abu Bakr, seeing oneself recite Surah al-Qasas or part of it, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies being tested by God Most High in some place.

Ibn Sirin said that wealth and property will come into that person's hands from an unseen or unexpected source, and that he may find a treasure; he will also remember his Lord frequently.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said that reciting Surah al-Qasas or hearing it recited signifies goodness and charitable deeds, blessing, increase of wealth, and broad and abundant provision.
