Al-Hashr

Classical interpretations

Seeing oneself recite Surah Al-Hashr in full or in part, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies being gathered on the Day of Resurrection with people of piety and scrupulousness and attaining divine mercy. Reciting this blessed surah also signifies deliverance from sorrow, grief, and hardship, attaining ease and abundance, and travel.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said that the person overcomes and subdues his enemy.
