Al-Ghashiyah

Classical interpretations

Seeing oneself recite this blessed surah or part of it, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies that livelihood becomes easier through God's grace and generosity, and also signifies knowledge and piety, goodness and benefit, rank and renown, generosity and liberality, and being loved among people.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said that the person's rank and station become high and his speech beautiful. Kirmani said that he becomes patient and steadfast in his affairs, seeks God's pleasure, acts generously and beneficently, and is loved among people.
