Al-Baqara
Classical interpretations
Seeing oneself recite Surah al-Baqara, a verse from it, or part of it, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies knowledge, long life, goodness in religion, and safety concerning one's child. Aisha is reported to have said that whoever sees himself reciting all or part of Surah al-Baqara will move from one place to another and his allotted share will come from the place to which he moves. Reciting Ayat al-Kursi from Surah al-Baqara, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies safety from fear, terror, and calamity, attainment of one's wish, and well-being.
Ibn Sirin said that one who recites Ayat al-Kursi in a dream will recover and attain his wish. Sometimes Ayat al-Kursi signifies strong memory and sharp intelligence.
