Al-Anbiya

Classical interpretations

Ibn Sirin said that seeing oneself recite Surah al-Anbiya or part of it, or hearing it recited over oneself, signifies taking on the character of the Prophets and attaining inward and outward purity.

Ja'far al-Sadiq said that the person who recites this blessed surah acts upon his knowledge, attains ease after hardship, and comfort after toil. Reciting this noble surah in a dream, or hearing it recited, signifies being granted a share of the Prophets' knowledge and supplications. It is also interpreted as possessing knowledge and humility. It has further been said that God Most High directs that person toward trustworthiness and obedience and makes matters easy for him.
