Absent person

Jabir al-Maghribi says that seeing an unknown or missing person return signifies receiving joyful news from that person.

Seeing someone whose whereabouts were unknown return safely signifies that affairs will proceed properly and smoothly.

Seeing an absent man appear and arrive in a dream is a sign that pleasing news will reach one from him. His holiness Ibn Sirin said: Seeing someone who is living abroad arrive in a dream signifies joyful news from him. Or it is a sign that that person will arrive soon. Jabir al-Maghribi said: Seeing an absent person return from a journey signifies ease in one's affairs. Again, seeing the absent person arrive happy and joyful is a sign of goodness and blessing.

Seeing the absent person arrive empty-handed and with a sullen face is a sign of sorrow and grief.
